All my gems in The Sims 3 are blue?

Everything was fine until I decided to detonate a chair in my house, that blew up a few other things and I noticed it turned made 3 books on a table look exactly the same although they weren't supposed to. Then I moved to a new lot with the same house and saw the books went back to their normal textures, but this came with the cost of all my gems becoming blue. As in all the shards that normally have different colors based on the type of gem turned blue. Then I got a few more gems and they were the proper color but I saved my family to the library and moved to a new town and the new gems I got turned blue as well! There's just something weird about a pink diamond looking blue.
