The US NEVER supported the IRA. In fact, it is ILLEGAL to support the IRA here. So get that straight. The only funding/support from this country to the IRA is from individual Irish-American immigrants who funnel that money back to Ireland through fraudulent and illegal fundraisers, and believe it or not, through the CHURCH. The Catholic Church gave more money to the IRA than did ANY combination of support from the US. Sorry Pal...We don't have a dog in this fight, and no matter how much you might would like to blame ALL the World's woes on the US, this particular turd just won't float. Got a problem with the dissidents in N. Ireland, figure out a way to handle your own rat killing, or move south. Or you could ask England to put troops BACK IN and we can go back to the way things were 25 years ago. But the US? We simply don't give a damn. Never did. Don't. Never will.
