My 1994 Cadillac sedan Deville wont crank on?

if your saying it won,t turn over then it,s not the gas. it still can turn over even if the tank is dry and the fan would,nt cause it not to start. it could be the battery, battery terminals dirty or the starter getting too hot. the starter just don,t start your car, it has something to do with the charging system too because your hot cable runs to the starter.
