What is the name of this movie?

There's a movie I saw about 10 years ago I think its either 80s or 90s. It is about the devil. All I reminder is there is an opening scene in the desert where Satan is walking around. There is a group of people living in a house and one of them is a priest who does not believe in God. One night somehow I dont remember because a demon was released from a box or something and this old woman appeared (as a nun i think) and started killing these people. After she was defeated, the people who died came back to life except the non-believing priest. Anyone know the name? Also, could you recommend other interesting movies that deals with God and Satan, especially horror movies but not the stupid ones. Thank you.
